- Is your email list this empty? Build your list with giveaway events and article marketing!
JV Giveaway events are a popular way of building your list. The downside of course, is if you have no list (or a very small list) to start with, your gift is often downgraded or not even shown in the first place.
Is it possible to promote JV giveaway events with article marketing?
JV giveaways usually are short run events, which last from one week to one month. Article marketing is best suited to long-term static sites. Your link in your resource box needs to be current.
The other downside to marketing a giveaway website is that YOU do not see the traffic or have the opportunity to capture leads.
How to promote JV giveaways with no list by using article marketing.
Think sideways a little though. You can promote your JV giveaway links with article marketing, all you need is a static page that YOU have control over.
When you publish your articles, point the link at your own website. Have a page dedicated to JV events that you are taking part in. Problem solved!
Of course, you could use the opportunity to build your list too. Have an opt in form so your visitors can be notified of new events that you are taking part in.
Why not take it one step further? Have your link pointing to a squeeze page with a free download. The giveaway events could be listed on the download page. I haven’t tested how effective that would be, but you have nothing to lose, you have no list
If you do not have your own website, point the links in your article resource box to a Blogger or WordPress blog. Write a Squidoo lens and keep a current list there or maybe set up a free site such as Weebly.
An important point to remember is not to write about a specific giveaway event. Again, that is soon outdated. Write an article about list building, the benefits of JV giveaways or resources for internet marketers. Get creative and put your thinking cap on!
